Hey kids,
It's been a little while since I posted in the news section, so I thought I'd say that I'm really happy with working on a multi-part story for a change. I think in the year and a half we've been doing the comic, I've written three first parts to one of these. For some reason, I've never really got around to writing a second part to anything.
This strip is about fifty-fifty Ean and my writing, so maybe all I really needed was to heavily edit a multi-part story in order to be able to take credit away from Ean. It sounds convoluted, but if you understood my sheer hatred of the man… you'd get it.

At first when I read this post I thought Matt was just trying to take credit for writing a comic he didn't really write. Once I saw the final product he added about four pages of text. For possibly the first time ever my draft was far shorter than the final product.
For those of you that know Matt you may have noticed he is trying to pick a fight with me in the news post. He's been doing that whenever I'm around as well. Over the many years I have known him I have seen this a number of times. You see everyone, its football season. I don't really watch football. I don't have anything against it. It just doesn't get me "all riled up". Matt however, is the antithesis to my football apathy. His mood lives and dies with every yard the Buffalo Bills drive down the field. The long and the short of the story is: when the Bills aren't doing well Matt lashes out at people. Its cool. Most of us know this. For those that don't I have taken Matt's most recent news post and put it through a BabelFish translation: Matt-to-English. The below should give you an idea of what is most likely happening in Matt's head during footballs season.
That is basically the deal. I let his barbs and insults wash over me because he is just hurting inside right now. During football season there is little joy in Mattville.
So if you see him; give him a nice big hug.

Yes, today's comic is the first of a three (maybe four) part story.
And guess what?! Three parts have already been written so we may actually have some consistent posting here for awhile.
That is until I find a bottle of scotch, Matt and Charlie fall into their yearly "billspression", and Shaun gets deeply involved in a street game of dice in which he is in over his head.
By that I mean when we aren't at work we're pretty much worthless.
With that said enjoy the comic.

It's been a while since I dropped a news post, so I just wanted to say that we're really sorry about taking a month off. It turns out that we can't make comics by doing blow and going to strip clubs. So from now on we'll be hiring escorts and bringing them back here. That way both the apartment and you, the loyal reader, win.
